instability of Version 7

Does anyone else have a stability issues with V7 our website was giving incorrect readings and therefore causing alot of panic.
So much so that we have reverted back to V6.4 running on Windows 2k

The only stats I can't rely on right now are the packet loss indicators. I'm still fooling around with the packet sizes in orion to find something that works for me.

We have been experiencing some polling problems since moving to v7 also. Periodically there will be "warinig storms" when whole groups of nodes go into warining status for a time. Luckily, so far, they clear up before alerts are sent out. Hopefully this will be fixed with the next incremental upgrade.

You've probably already checked this, but just in case..

Have you checked your Polling Index and Poll Completion stats? You may need to increase the registry keys that control MAX POLLS and MAX STAT POLLS per second to allow Orion to query more devices concurrently.
