Hi guys,
If I want to check old information stored in solarwinds database, how far could I reach?
When does it begin to "erase" the information? Or it never does?

Retention periods are documented in the Core Components Administrator Guide (and in each product's Administrator Guide) in this node:
Lawrence Garvin pretty much nailed the answer there.....but if you are looking for long term data say over the last 2 years, more than likely that is gone.
Thus there needs to be a data warehouse so that you can see over time if you have been effective in your changes for capacity planning and to more accurately depict growth.
