Please tell me I can stop autodiscover from adding ports in UDT. I do NOT want to add all the virtual server ports every time I do an auto discover.

Right now we automatically add these ports into UDT however they are not monitored unless selected by a user. Considering they are not monitored and therefore not consuming a license, is it still a problem please?

Yes,
We want to do port counts for inventory of how many host device ports we have. If all ports are added, it throws this count off. Why would you want to add all the 8 to 12 virtual ports that every Windows server has?
Interesting perspective, thanks Daniel! I will raise a feature request for this internally and will track other customers asking for this change so the priority can be set...
Wouldn't be possible to use a custom SQL report to exclude these virtual ports as a workaround? (not sure how you actually do the inventory counts, just thinking loud )

The device tracker summary page is what we look at. If all the extraneous ports are added this count is way off.
