I am very new to this forum but have some questions related to NPM. We are currently running 10.1.1 and I am having some issues with redicovery or repolling when interfaces are changed. Many times the interface name or description will be changed by the network engineer and the site maps will need to be updated.
I use the NPM GUI to manage the node. I list the resources on the device, but the new interface is not there. I have tried repolling and have also used rediscovery on the switch to try and get the new data - but no luck !!
I need to change the interfaces on the NPM Altlas map, but if NPM does not list them then I cannot accomplish this.
Please advise if I am doing this correctly or if there is a more efficient way to accomplish this. I am very new to this area and appreciate any feedback on this topic
