Reports - not showing when using AD group authenication in EOC

When I setup a Active Directory Security group in EOC and that same group in my NPM servers (all permissions are admin for eoc and the NPM servers for this AD group that I'm testing with.

I get this error message when I click on the reports tab in EOC, all of the other information for the three different NPM servers are populated in EOC it's just reports don't show up.

Here's the exact error message.

Orion server password is missing. Enter the actual password for this Orion credential on the Manage Credentials even if this is an Active Directory account, and try again.

I will mention when I'm each of the NPM sites, this security group can see the reports.

How would I enter in a password for a security group? When I'm getting all the other information populated from the different NPM servers?

You are right, if you use an AD group for logging into NPM, you can't enter its password into EOC and you are not able to get list of reports from that NPM (and also you are not able to acknowledge Events, Alerts and Syslogs from EOC). We are working on a solution for this.

In the meantime the only workaround is to associate your EOC account with some Orion Individual or Windows Individual account from that NPM server.

Thanks for the information. I didn't even notice the alerts and event issue.

We have any eta on when this is going to get fixed?

No estimate yet. We know the technical solution, but it also depends on some changes in the Orion so I can't tell you when we will be able to address this issue in EOC.
