Under managed nodes we have a dropdown of nodes/interfaces to search for the nodes .Can we get ipaddress in the dropdown list so that it will be easy to search the device via ipaddress
You can search via IP address already in that field. I do it daily.
but im not getting that option mine is NPM 12 Version
There is no "option". Just leave the drop down on Nodes and type in an IP address. You don't have to put the entire IP in either. For example, if you're looking for a certain range, you can type in just the first 2 or 3 octets and get a variety of search results.
Thankyou!!!
I just upgraded to 12.2, and when I search for IP addresses, I'm getting no results in Manage Nodes. If you use the search resource selecting IP Address, you do get results. Manage Nodes seems to be broken? Only when I search by the caption do I get results now.
-Actually, Manage Nodes search isn't returning any inventory after upgrading to 12.2.
Is ip address one of the columns that has been selected on your view? I believe it only searches the columns you have selected.
Appears to be working for me.
This is crazy, but it's working today.
