In an attempt to use active directory groups to dish out permissions in Solarwinds, we are creating groups specifically for Solarwinds and the different roles that a person will fill. However, it appears that if a person is in mutliple AD groups, they don't get rights from both groups in Solarwinds. When they log in, they get the role that is first in the list.
Scenario: I have a group of Windows Admins and a group of Linux Admins. We made two AD groups for Solarwinds and assigned permissions through Solarwinds accordingly. If one user needs access to both, we add them to both AD groups, but they only get rights to the group listed first in Solarwinds.
Is there a way to get both without creating an additional AD group for the one person who needs to see more than one group?
