APM via SNMP help

 Hi there,

just like to verify on how we can monitor the ffg. services RPC, Terminal services, TOMCAT, server service, POP3, and SMTP using only SNMP. We're monitoring this behind a FW that only allows SNMP. We tried using the ffg. exe file (configured using process monitor - SNMP) but it is still down at our end.

RPC - rpcss.exe and svchost -k rpcss

Server Service - scvhost.exe -k netsvcs

POP3 - pop3de2.exe and pop3srv.exe

Terminal services - mstsc.exe

SMTP - smtp.exe

TOMCAT - tomcat.exe and tomcat5.exe

As suggested by solarwinds support, we have upgraded Orion from v.8.5.1 to 9, then upgraded APM from v1 to 2. When we tried using the application builder - we encountered the attached error.

 The error from the screenshot looks like a conflict with .Net 3.5 SP1.  Try this:

Edit \Inetpub\SolarWinds\Orion\MasterPage.master. Find this line:

                <form runat="server" method="post" action="#" id="aspnetForm">

Remove the action="#" part. That is, change it to this:

                <form runat="server" method="post" id="aspnetForm">

Save. Next time you load the pages, they should be working. As usual with edits to website code, running the configuration wizard will undo this change.
