Syslog server is sending logs to a SQL database...

Hello,

I have syslog server sfotware version 8.3.52. Currectly the software is set up to send logs to our SQL database. This is working fine, but the Syslog KIWI logviewer software doesn't seem to read .MDF (database) files.

My 2 questions is;

1. can the Syslog server software be set up to set to both the database and also the .txt files it came with by default and how do I do this if it can?

2. If not, can the Kiwiw Logviewer software be setup to read .mdf files or is there a workaround or something?

When you say "set to both the database and also the .txt files" are you wanting Kiwi Syslog server to be able to read historical log files from both locations? If so, this is not possible. However, it's worth noting that Kiwi Log Viewer would give you the ability to see historical log file data on the Kiwi Syslog Server (as an alternative to using notepad).
