Resolving names with lmhosts in IP Address Manage

Hello all,
I am trying to resolve some of the IP address's in the IP Address management tool that do not have a DNS listing. I am trying to get the lmhosts file configured to do this.
On the server I created a lmhosts file saved as .txt with just one ip and name for now.
quote:#10.10.10.X GenericName
I have the Advanced TCP/IP settings to "Enable lmhosts lookup". When I import lists and then rescan with IP Address Management it does not find the lmhosts list. What am I missing?
This is my first time messing with an lmhosts file so I'm sure I'm goofing it up.
Any help s appreciated.
