IPAM 4.8 - Can't edit custom property value when IP is available

HI,

As the title says since upgrading to IPAM 4.8 whenever an IP is changed back to available you can't edit the custom property value, you have to set it to reserved or used to be able to edit the value.

Anyone know the reasoning behind this as i can't find anything regarding this and the server team who process all the builds/decommissions are giving me pain for not telling them of this change?

Hello.

I assume it has to do with custom properties of IPAM now being general properties of Orion. I've found a workaround for you though. Go to "Manage custom properties" select your IP address there and double-click on the property field you want to change/apply.

ding might be able to have a look to confirm whether this restriction is intended or considered to be a bug.

Agree it's probably part of becoming general properties in the core product, the user workaround at the moment is to change the record back to used to remove the entry and then change it back.

If they need to change in bulk then your workaround is definitely a good idea but need to check it works for non admin users.
