Advanced alert not kicking off? (Packet loss)

I created a high packet loss advanced alert.  It should trigger whenever there is more than 2% packet loss on an interface.

 

I had 2 routers go down last night, so obvious tons of packet loss to both of them.  But I didn't get any alerts.

 

I thought maybe they had auto reset, but when I go to the alerts page, I don't even see any acknowledged alerts.... What am I doing wrong?

when a node is down, the packet loss is considered 0 as this is normal on a node that is down...

you need to create an alert for the node being down as well...
