Would it be ok to install PRTG (bandwidth tool that uses SNMP) on the same box as my Ip monitor.
We have a TV set up in our office with Ip monitor and it would be better to display both when available on the same box.
thanks,
What are you monitoring in ipMonitor? Just asking as the only major concern I could see is port conflicts.
Cisco routers and switches, windows servers, Cisco call manager/subscriber
I wouldn't recommend it then, you are going to most likely get SNMP port conflicts as both ipMonitor and PRTG use SNMP and are going to want to bind to that port.
