The "ForwardSyslog" trap template is good, but does not supply the needed information that our NOC needs to use. When I try and use the "Orion-Detailed-Alert" template, there are only a few fields that show on the receiving end. (Such as IP, and the custom alert message you can add in the space provided.) I was told that this will only be corrected when Basic Alerts are developed out of NPM. However, the template can be used to create different traps templates that can be sent. (But will not be supported by SolarWinds TechSupport.)
Does anyone have an example of a trap template that can be sent by the Advanced Alert actions? Or perhaps point me in the right direction?
