I would say that one of the best features of the Storage Manager software is its ability to scale. Storage Manager (using MySQL) has been very successful in monitoring small and large environments alike.

Howver, if you are having issues with the MySQL database (or any other component of Storage Manager), please submit a support ticket at www.solarwinds.com/support/ticket/

Can you add some specifics about how many SAN devices, their general size and brand/models? We can better address the question with some more specific information.

I dont know exact number but I think about 200 and their brands is HP EVA,is its SQL good??

Perhaps this information may be somewhat biased and as always I suggest you do your own research so as to better quantify this answer as legitimate or not, but here is a page directly from MYSQL listing some of the best reasons to use it:

Notice how (according to them) scalability and flexibility ranks #1 on their list. I think its hard to argue with #10 as well, free is a pretty good price.
