where can i download nta 3.1

i got a new fresh build of orion and i want to install the netflow eval 3.5

but i get an error message

before you can upgrade to 3.5 you need to install 3.1

there hasn't ever been netflow installed on this box

I'm having the same issue as you. I've opened ticket #129472 and made another post here on Thwack. Did you get this fixed? If so, what was the solution?

I've tried the removal procedures for 3.1 and some additional actions from support but no go.

When I tried to run the 3.5 install again after rebooting the server I received the following error messages:

SolarWinds2002

Cannot start SolarWinds Network Interface. You will need to reinstall the Solarwinds Tools. Error Code SWL-1001.

When it gets to the Configuration Wizard, I receive the message:

Your Orion NTA database is not an Orion NTA 3.0 database. Before upgrading to Orion NTA 3.1 you must install Orion NTA 3.0. Please update your current installation to Orion NTA version 3.0 and then rerun your upgrade. Netflow Traffic Analysis configuration is not possible and will be skipped.

Do you want to continue with this upgrade?

You can continue the upgrade or not, it has no effect on the installation that I can tell. I've tried starting at version 3.0 and I get an error regarding TCP or UDP tables not being present. I'm waiting to hear back from support on this also.

I have same problem but disappointed to see that no solution is available on thwack even from official ones.

What version of NTA are you currently running? I assume you are having the same issue as mentioned in the post but want to make sure.

Also, we have upgrade instructions here. Try them and see if they help.

I am trying to 3.7 eval. The Reson why I have not purchased it , is the problems I am facing to install it .
