it would be very useful in my environment to be able to select a node or config and run a selected policy or group of policies against that node/config.
Should be able to do by putting a Policy Violation report on a Node Detail page.
Discussed with you in other forum, it is functionaly possible but might be broken, investigating (64088)
if this worked, would this satisfy the requirement?
no, I'm looking more for a "check this device now" for policy x,y,z.
may be that this angle doesn't make sense.
I was thinking along the lines of adding a new device and forcing a policy to run against it.
another angle would be working on remediation -> what policies failed for this device (i.e. what do I need to fix).
I like the idea of integrating policy checking (and remediation) during the process of adding a new device (manual, discovery...).
So you know that any device you add is basically clean from a compliance standpoint.
Is it what you have in mind?
yea, that sounds like it would do the job! thanks

Definitely +1 here. This would be great to be able to do this.
