Hi,
Can solarwinds confirm if VoIP monitor has any future ( or current ! ) plans
plans to support CUCM v6.1 Linux based appliances ?
Regards
As of now were investigating all the different flavors of CCM and determining support. Some versions just don't have very much SNMP support and so are not manageable. I don't know if Unix CCM 6.1 will be supported at this time.
Is there going to be further guidance on this Andy?
We are migrating from Call Manager 5.1 to CUCM 6.1 (Cisco Unified Call Manager as it's now named ) and need to make some decisions regarding management.
We really need some function to display basic Call Manager stats.
Dave.
How about even giving us the basic phone and gateway data for CUCM 6.1 as a start.
The following MIB's are available for this..
ccmRegisteredPhones 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.5.5ccmUnregisteredPhones 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.5.6ccmRejectedPhones 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.5.7ccmRegisteredGateways 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.5.8ccmUnregisteredGateways 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.5.9
Use the ccmSystemVersion (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.156.1.5.29) to determine which OID to use for each version.
It's frustrating that I can create custom poller for this, but I can't use the VoIP module to display the information where it belongs.
CUCM 6.x does not lack for SNMP MIB support. The CISCO-CCM-MIB and HOST-RESOURCES-MIB will provide most of your requirements.
ANy response from solarwind son this. We recently upgraded from ver 5 to 6.1
Dave,
I checked and we are polling these OIDs. Do you have a ticket on this?
Andy
