blowing up maps

i have purely 8 maps as a resource and use as network overview. this is having a layout of 3columns and 3 rows.

problem - i couldnt blow up the maps when we want to.

solution1-i included another map which consist of 8 nested maps. but the problem with this solution is it is consuming a lot of time to refresh the overview..say like 2 minutes of refresh time.

question;

is there any way we can blow up maps to avoid my solution1?

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Are you saying you are unable to scale up the maps?

i have 8 maps on a single screen as an overview of the whole nationwide network. so the screen is divided into 8 small maps.

what i want is something that i should be able to scale a map to a full screen.
