I would submit a case to support on this. Depending on what development says, this is going to be a bug or a feature request but will need to be sent to support first.

I do not think there is a built in alert for this, although that would be nice to have out of the box. You can always setup an alert on Disk Status not equal to OK, but that will not change the overall status for the array like you have highlighted. I think the green check mark is more that for Server - Agent communication.
