NCM config changes does not show

hi all,

i am fairly new to NCM. and i added nodes and can change configs on nodes from NCM. everything seems to be good. but when i change node config from telnet, it does not show up in NCM.

i cannot workout this problem.

any advice/help?

Hello,

NCM will download configurations when a scheduled job is ran. To setup and schedule a config backup job, you need to run Solarwinds Configuration Manager from your Orion server, and set up the job to run.

You can also setup Real Time Change Notification for any config change on a NCM node. When a configuration change occurs, NCM will download the new running config and email you what has changed.

There is pretty good documentation in the NCM admin guide both of the above setups.
