Setting up Session Tracing in NCM to debug device interaction issues

Question

1. To enable session tracing in NCM, go to File > Settings > Session Tracing.

2. Attempt to verify login and download a config from the problematic device.

3. Then, you can find the session trace for your device in <install dir>:\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\Session-Trace.

4. Please copy the session trace text and paste into your reply post.

activate session tracing via web gui and go to  >  Settings > NCM Settings> Advanced Settings> and tick “Enable Session Tracing” checkbox.

afterwards go to the session-trace directory and look. but dont forget do disable session tracing after debugging like on switches.

Am I missing something I switched on session tracing to debug a config back up and when I have unticked the box beside session tracing in File > Settings > Session Tracing in Network Configuration Manager however it appears that NCM is still tracing sessions because I can still see new files being created in <install dir>:\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\Session-Trace. Every time I delete them they reappear and the filesize continues to grow?
