EOC placement. Any lessons learned?

I am getting ready to setup EOC to tie in 5 NPM/APM sites and I'm now wondering where I want to place it. A primary site, a DR site?

Anyone have suggestions or lessons they've learned after running EOC for a while as to where it should sit?

We use it on Prymary Site to allow access to all team
