Kiwi Syslog is not working , I have tried to stop and start the Syslog service from the “Kiwi Syslog Service Manager” but did not have any desired effect. But this seems to be stopping intermittently
When you say it is not working what do you mean? Are you not seeing syslogs in the display?
It is stopping intermittently meaning everytime I need to restart the kiwi tool to run the backup proc properly. And after some time it stops again.
This issue is usually caused by one of our dll or ocx file getting unregistered. This can happen after an Microsoft update. Please try reinstalling Kiwi Syslog Server over the top of your current install. Please run the install as the local administrator (not a domain account), and make sure both the Windows UAC and any antivirus software is disabled.
I have a similar issue however my syslogs are not being displayed at all my Syslog Statistics are reporting that I'm receiving syslogs but nothing on the display. I did a stare/compare with another instance that is running fine and even upgraded to 9.6.
