New to ipMonitor - Need help with settings

Hi,

I have just purchased ipMonitor, and all seems to be going fairly well except one thing.

I have created a specific user for wmi credentials that is a member of domain admins and it works for polling things like disk space, proc & memory but if I try to setup a Service Monitor via WMI I get access denied.

Does anyone know what perms need changing and where?

The interesting thing is if I add them at scanning they are access denied, if I add them afterwards by going add - > new monitor they work.

any ideas?

Can you try this instead?

1. Leave them as access denied

2. Go to Credential Manager (Configuration > Credential List)

3. Re-assign the credential to all of the service monitors

4. Check to see if the service monitors are now working

I'd like to confirm that this is the same issue that others are experiencing.

I've seen this same thing.  I ended up using SNMP instead.
