Advanced Alert Suddenly Stop Working

Hello,

Not sure why or what causes advanced alert to stop working correctly. I have an alert setup to notify me when a node goes down. I used to get the alert but stop a ago. When I test the alert, I get the UP email message instead of DOWN email message.

Attached is the screenshot of the alert variable and email message.

Any idea what causes this issue? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Can you post screenshots of the rest of the tabs on your alert definition?

Also, testing alert trigger and reset actions do not test the logic of the alert, nor do they always return valid status data. What you are actually testing is the ability of SolarWinds to actually perform the action. In your case, you tested the ability of SolarWinds to process an email message and send it through your designated relay server.

Thanks for that. The only thing striking me as odd is your limiting condition on your trigger (highlighted area below)

Can you take the drop down menue that says 'Node' (red arrow) and move it to 'Custom SQL Alert' and then post the text that shows up?
