HP LaserJet CP2025dn do not respond to SNMP queries in MIB Browser or custom pollers

Is anyone else finding that some HP printers (as well as Dell) refuse to cooperate via SNMP? I have a few HP LaserJet CP2025dn models that, regardless of the community string being set as public, refuse to talk to the MIB Browser. All the other HP's work though.

Could you run a snmpwalk to see what values are coming back from the device.

Same issue, it won't respond.

The sweep works though, and verifies that the string is public, which is what everything is effectively set to for the printers. The printer setup on the windows server side is also correct.

Going to check the firmware and see if there is a known issue.

Nope, not a firmware issue either.

The two printers we have of this model were updated to the latest firmware and natta.

I did a quick search for the device on Internet.I found they support snmp version 1.So did you have a chance to get the device added on Orion by selecting snmpv1.

You may also look for the snmp configuration settings on the Laser jet SNMP configuration settings on the device.

And you may check for port 161 is listening.
