IP Monitor works for awhile then quits

Hello my IPMonitor has worked great for years but now for some reason it will stop sending notifications and then I have to change the public IP on the server to get it working. It will work for a little while and then quit again until I change the IP address again.

Any ideas?

Do you have to change the IP address, or will restarting the services resolve the issue?

that is a good question. I will try that. I am pretty sure that I have rebooted before and it didn't work but just to be sure I will try again and let you know if restarting the service helps.

This morning I tested and it failed to report so I stopped and restarted the services and that didnt seem to help. Im not sure why the IP is getting hung up. I was having trouble with this server last week it was giving me the blue screen of death or whatever they call it.

If this is a VM, do you have an earlier snapshot that you can revert to?

Building on my previous question, have you applied any recent Microsoft updates?

I have done some updates but only after it started acting up. I can try reverting to an earlier configuration and see if that helps ..thanks
