Anonymous Access To SAM Portal

Question

How do we enable anonymous/guest access to a page within SAM? We have a portal we would like to present to users without requiring authentication, however users receive the default forms based logon box.

Secondly, is there a way to provide a friendly URL like: http://sam.domain.com/execdashboard or something similar?

We created a friendly URL doing this:

1. Created noc.bighugecompany.com DNS alias to IP of IIS site

2. Configured IIS site redirect to go to non friendly URL View ID.

Create a user with the views and any limitations required then pass login details in the URL.

Automatically login by passing your credentials through the URL

Create a favorite or bookmark that includes your Orion individual account user name and password as parameters within the URL.

http://DOMAIN/Orion/Login.aspx?AccountID=USER&Password=PASSWORD

Provide the hostname or IP address of your SolarWinds Orion server as the DOMAIN. Provide your Orion user name as the USER, and then provide your Orion user account password as the  PASSWORD.
