Is there a supported way to customize SWDiscovery.cfg and add new SysObjectID mappings for devices that are not correctly identified by SolarWinds?

Hi @avivi,

No, editing SWDiscovery.cfg by hand isn't supported. That file holds the sysObjectID database SolarWinds uses to work out the vendor and model, and it gets updated with each release. Anything you change yourself could break or get overwritten at your next upgrade.

If you could share the device's sysObjectID, vendor/model, and SolarWinds version, I'd be happy to check if it's already covered in a newer build.
