Announcing Kiwi Syslog Server NG 2026.2 is Generally Available

We would like to announce Kiwi Syslog Server NG (New Generation) version 2026.2. This release contains following new features and improvements

Support for LDAP integration
KSS NG is now able to authenticate users and authorize access via Active Directory groups using LDAP. LDAPS and StartTLS add encryption to protect credentials and directory data in transit. See Configure LDAP and LDAPS in KSS NG.
New scheduled task for LDAP user cleanup
Users can now employ a scheduled task to clean up inactive LDAP user profiles. Retention policies can be configured in the Schedule Wizard.
Separate message length limits for UDP and TCP
KSS NG now processes unique parameters for UDP (MaxSyslogMessageLength) and TCP (TcpMaximumStoredMessageLength) message lengths.
Service and installer upgraded to .NET 10.0.7
The KSS NG service and installer has been moved to .NET 10.0.7 for improved security and functionality.
Support for Elasticsearch SQL database
KSS NG now supports the Elasticsearch SQL database. See Add an action to log messages to a database in KSS NG.
RFC5424 fields in Events table
The Events table now displays the following fields: RFC Host, RFC App Name, and RFC Message ID.
