Has anyone ran into this issue at all ? I added a large amount of Ubiquiti access points to monitor via ICMP only and even though the AP \ Management IP is up and reachable some are failing and showing as down on Solar Winds.
I ran into one article that advised me to make some changes as per below
ICMP Node can be pinged but node showing down in the SolarWinds Platform when the ping packet is shortened
This article describes how to resolve an issue that occurs after adding a node using ICMP in the SolarWinds Platform.

By default, SolarWinds utilizes a 23-byte ping packet which is shorter than many devices expect. Below are steps for increasing the length of the ping message to 32-bytes.EnvironmentNPM 2020.2;NPM 2022.3;NPM 2022.4;NPM 2023.1;NPM 2023.2;NPM 2023.3;NPM 2023.4;NPM 2024.1CauseThe device may be dropping packets because it thinks it is a fragmented packet. The SolarWinds default ping packet is smaller than the Windows 32-bit ping packet.Resolution
Log in to the SolarWinds Platform Web Console.Click Settings > All Settings.Under Thresholds & Polling, click Polling Settings.Scroll down to Network and locate ICMP Data.In the corresponding field, change "SolarWinds Status Query" to "SolarWinds Status Query xxxxxxxx"where "x" is any character. This adds up to 32 characters, including spaces.Click submit.Perform a "poll now" on the node on Node Details to see if it comes back as up.
If, after the steps above, some nodes stopped responding, you can use the following text in the ICMP data, as it is the default Windows ping:abcdefghijklmn opqrstuvwabcdefg hi
I did this and removed the nodes and readded them and still failing. I can see no reason for this when comparing a working access point to a non working one they have the same code and are the same model and at the same site on the same switch. Any help would be appreciated.
