Always Available On SQL - SolarWinds

I am quite new to database and i dont have a dba right now, can someone suggest whether two nodes are enough to build the always availability on cluster ?

Basically i will deploy one node in UK and other node in US , do i need a additional node for heartbeat ?

Can you share the procedure to build the cluster setup

"Always on availability" is an SQL concept. It depends on how available you want the data to be as to the number of nodes in the cluster? I've never actually seen anyone go to the trouble for a Solarwinds instance, It really depends on how critical the data is and how much you want to spend to get a little more availability. Most folks don't care if they lose a little data with Solarwinds and would rather save the money, restore from backups and just start monitoring when its back up. But that's a "you" decision.

Doing a cluster like this across the ocean, and maybe further depending on where they are, might suffer from latency issues and other problems. Might want to hire a SQL consultant on this if you're not familiar with such things.
