Appinsight (for IIS) 2026.2

Hi guys,

anyone has seen this in 2026.1

Upgraded my LAB yesterday and one of the things i notice is that the appinsight for IIS dropped the HTTPS bindings monitor.

Even for the SW monitoring, the template changed, however, it is not refreshed during/after upgrade.

Has anyone seen this (yet) and what would be the reason it would not update on its own.

I have a lot of IIS monitoring in PRD environment and i would like to prevent alerts that are not true.

In this screenshot,

1) Disabled and enabled the IIS in the node.

2) Was not changed yet, bindings monitor shows Down, but isn't

Are you on the 2026.2 RC version or the GA version? There where an issue with http/https monitoring in the RC version, but that is fixed in the GA version.

This seems odd.  Recent releases included changes to ensure that the SolarWinds Platform validates all SSL connections.  If the cert is not trusted, it would flag these issues and may cause some connections to go down (in theory).  We have not seen this issue reported yet, but it is possible this could be a problem. If you have a support case, please provide it so we can fast-track it and determine whether additional changes are needed to resolve the issue.
