I have a few nodes in AWS that I am managing as a node in Orion. The DEV node is reporting fine back to Orion but the prod node is showing as down in Orion.
On the down node I can go to List Resources and it lists resources and I can go to Edit Properties and and edit properties and test service account authentication and it works.
I am thinking there is an issue with our onsite networking or our cloud networking but both teams said 'everything is setup'
I can ping from DEV and PROD nodes back to both polling engines.
I can ping and get name resolution but pings fail to both nodes from the polling engines. Which is a bit odd you would think DEV would show down as well.
My guess is between onsite networking and cloud networking they are missing something but was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what else I could check?
I disabled firewalls on both nodes to test and nothing changes. I added allow ICMP rule on both nodes as well and nothing changes.
The odd part is DEV works and PROD does not and they should have the same access lists.
