Least-Privilege required for WMI and Agent Polling

We currently have SolarWinds set up to poll windows servers using a Service account with admin permissions on the target machines.

we are looking for the

1. Least-Privilege WMI Polling
   • Can SolarWinds poll server CPU, memory, disk using a non-admin domain account?
   • If not then What are the exact permissions required on the target servers for this account to work without agent?
2. Agent-Based Monitoring
   • I guess in that case we just need admin access to install the agent on the server?

Are there alternative approaches to reduce privileged access while maintaining full monitoring coverage?

We want to eliminate the need for a domain admin or overly privileged account on our servers while maintaining reliable SolarWinds monitoring.
