Has anyone had a good experience with SolarWinds live virtual training since they moved over to Microsoft Teams?
My experience has been absolute garbage. The instructors are great (Rey, Eric, Jason, etc.). The issue seems to be whomever is setting up/coordinating the Teams meeting themselves. This is the second week of classes we’ve attended, and my co-workers and I have had access issues from multiple devices/locations. Out of 7 classes, 5 had access issues or features not functioning. I stepped out of a class today, because I can’t enter and I’m stealing 15 – 30 minutes from the instructor or other participants just to get into the course. If I attempt to sign in 10 or 15 minutes early, there are still issues and its late entry if entry at all.
We’ve had issues like not receiving invitations for a class (even though course shows registered), receiving invites with no access details/credentials, username and password doesn’t work on weblink (but works on customer portal access/new training page), chat doesn’t work when you’re in the class, the instructors display screen is not visible to users, etc. The amount of effort to get something working is starting to not seem worth it.
I don't know if it's only my team and I, but is anyone else experiencing issues like this?
