A quick heads-up: the first phase of rebranding changes we previewed a few weeks ago are going live on the 23rd of March. As part of the SolarWinds acquisition of Squadcast™, we’re updating our brand identity to bring you closer to the broader SolarWinds ecosystem, including SolarWinds® Observability and SolarWinds IT Service Management.
Nothing under the hood is changing. Your data, workflows, and features will be exactly as they are today. What’s new is purely visual.
What to expect when changes go live
You'll be logged out
When the release goes live on March 23rd, you'll be logged out and will need to sign back in. If you run into trouble, clear cookies/cache and do a hard refresh. One thing we caught during our mock release: password managers may not auto-fill credentials since the URLs are changing. Worth flagging to your team ahead of time.
New URLs by data center
Old Squadcast URLs and bookmarks will still work since there's a seamless redirect in place. Updating bookmarks is optional. The new URLs won't be live until the release is complete. Additionally, any SMS alerts will also reflect the updated links once the rebrand goes live.
Mobile App
Once you update the app from the App Store or Play Store, the home screen icon will switch to the SolarWinds logo and the app name will update to Incident Response (Squadcast).
Change in Incident Email Sender Address
Email notifications will now come from no-reply@incidents.cloud.solarwinds.com
instead of the previous no-reply@incidents.squadcast.com. The email body will also reflect the rebrand. You'll see the SolarWinds branding and the updated product name, SolarWinds Incident Response, in place of the old Squadcast logo and name.
