Cisco APIC NCM backup fails after 1 hour

Hey Guys,

I used to be able to backup Cisco APIC devices, however, since a upgrade (in june last year) of those boxes, it fails.

Trying all kinds of template settings, i can connect, but fails after about 1 hour.

ERROR: Running config: Timeout

Running the show-run on the CLI of the device itself, it takes 45 mins to show the whole config.

Any ideas on this? I can't seem to find out, even with CISCO TAC, what change has been causing this.

You did mention upgrade - from which version to which version did you upgrade to?

btw, i just found out that version is exactly the same as the last success backup NOT TRUE
last success is only 300 lines

Lasst success is firmware-version aci-apic-dk9.5.2.7g

Mind you i do NOT manage those devices, i am 'just' the solarwinds guy ;)

Having said all that, we again went trough the config.

So, the last fully OK backup was with the old version. 38000+ lines.

the last backup that was created (in the newer version) is only 319 lines, so not the complete conf.
and now, nothing works at all.

The commands given towards the CLI work just fine, line breaks, prompt and commands for show-
