EOC and additional poling engine

Hi all,

I have a some difficulties to understand how to setup EOC when using dual polling engine, and I hoped someone could help me.

=> I have currently 2 locations (APAC/EMEA) with one npm poling engine in each. I am going to upgrade my EMEA location, and add a 2nd poling engine there (see attached file).

- I am not sure if I should add the 2nd NPM to EOC, or if EOC will 'see' its nodes trough the 1st NPM (they use the same DB)?

- Either way, I would lke to see the new polling engine status in EOC, is that possible?

- I was told a little while ago that although not officially supported, it was possible to point EOC to the NPM additional web servers, instead of the poller. anyone tried that or have ever heard of a feedback?

Hi Yan, here are the answers:

1) You don't have to add the 2nd NPM to EOC. You need to add just the first one because both pollers use the same DB.

2) This is currently not possible.

3) This is not officially supported, anyway there is no technical reason why this shouldn't work.
