Bulk configuration for database monitoring in SolarWinds SAM

We are currently using SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor and have already onboarded multiple servers. We have configured database monitoring for a few servers manually.

However, we want to know if there is any method to bulk configure database monitoring (MSSQL/Postgres/DB2) across multiple nodes instead of configuring them individually.

Create or customize a template once and apply it to multiple nodes.
Steps:
Go to Settings → All Settings → SAM Settings → Manage Templates.
Create or modify a template for:
MSSQL
PostgreSQL
DB2
Add required component monitors (SQL Query Monitor, Process Monitor, etc.)
Go to Manage Nodes.
Select multiple nodes.
Click Assign Application Monitor.
Choose the template and apply to all selected nodes.
This lets you deploy the same monitoring configuration to many nodes at once.

Hi Naveen,

Yes we can apply the template in bulk by your method but cannot add DB name.

Again I have configure DB name manually and test it.
