Failed to execute HTTP request in sending POST request alert to MIA tool

Failed to execute HTTP request -->System.Net.HttpRequestExeption: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid accourding to the validation procedure.

What might be the culprit here, and what is the resolution? Above was observed in ExecutionAlertlog of Solarwinds

-SAN matches the fqdn

-updated certificates
-host file server IP/FQDN matches the URL in the alert

Can it be that your SolarWinds server is not trusting the supplier of that certificate? If you take a web browser on the solarwinds server and go to that url, what does it say then? Does it accept the certificate?

It shows when we tried to input the URL in the browser.

To me it seems like an issue on MIA tool. Try using postman or alternatives to check if the URL + parameters being sent is being accepted by MIA, if not check with MIA support to provide valid details along with what Payload it can consume and modify your calls accordingly. I dont think this has anything to do with SolarWinds.
