SCOM MP with Solarwinds 2026.1

Hi

we were using SCOM management pack for solarwinds version 2024.1, but after upgrading to version 2026.1 SCOM is not able to get correct state of nodes anymore, all nodes are in Warning state.

First after upgrade SCOM was able to get correct state, but then after reboot of SCOM management server, the solarwinds Management pack has kinda stopped working.

It looks like it is still connecting and getting some data "Performance" but it is not able to get current state of node.

I have tried to run configuration guide again, but this did not help.

I have also tried to enable port 17778 in advanced configuration in Solarwinds.

We are using MP version 2.3.0.650 and i am not able to find any newer version of the MP.

Is 2026.1 GameOver for SCOM MP, or does anyone have an idea to get this working again ?

I have never used that MP but I guess this can be because the API port changed in version 2024.2.
If you somehow can make the MP call solarwinds api on the new port there might be a chance to get it working.

I have not been able to change the port for the MP communication, but i did enable port 17778 in Solarwinds without any luck.

For now we have moved away from the MP, since this was used for SquaredUp map with SCOM objects, we have created a direct integration from SquaredUp to Solarwinds and are now building new maps based on this integration.

Seems as expected to me, SCOM MP was original built for SolarWinds Orion modules like NPM and few more, over a period of time as SolarWinds is moving towards a more centralized solution and since now they are on Self Hosted Observability I dont think this would be compatible anymore and yes you are absolutely correct I dont see a new MP released for it as well.
