SolarWinds Nodes Export All Attributes

One of our customers previously used OpenText NNMi, which provides an option to export complete inventory with all node attributes (e.g., chassis, IP, hostname, etc.). The customer is expecting a similar capability in SolarWinds.

However, I could not find any out-of-the-box option to export the full node inventory with all attributes. Please let me know if anyone has come across this requirement and share your inputs.

Please help to share the procedure if we have to create any custom reports to export this.

SolarWinds allows custom table reports where you can include every node attribute, such as hostname, IP, machine type, vendor, and any custom properties.

SolarWinds documentation confirms that you can add all available Node and Custom Property fields into a report.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → All Settings
2. Click Manage Reports
3. Click Create New Report → Custom Table
4. Set Orion Object = Node
5. Add all fields you need:
   • Caption (hostname)
   • IP Address
   • DNS
   • Machine Type
   • Asset Inventory fields (if enabled)
   • Custom properties
