Platform Update Failing at 88%

I’m hitting this error at 88% while updating the platform from 2025.2 to 2025.4.1.

I’ve already deleted the WPM users per a previous recommendation, cleaned up the registry, completely removed the application, and attempted a fresh install, offline/online etc but the same error still occurs. Has anyone else run into this?

This upgrade process used to be straightforward, but I can’t get past this point. Any guidance would be appreciated.

(Notice: I have been dealing with this for 2 releases now, I understand a new one is available now but not confident that will work either)

Have you checked the installer logs? Usually you can find something a little more useful than the generic error messages provided by the GUI (That's for sure a different can of worms lol)… They are at

<OS Directory (Default C:)>\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Logs\Installer\<Date/time of Install attempt>

Sometimes context is hiding right in front of the error. If you want, post snippets here for review! I have not had any major issues with the installer itself in the past couple of versions, they usually come after :D
