Monitor AWS direct connect

Hi all,

We have self hosted NPM with Netflow, NPM, and NCM licence.

I am trying to monitor AWS direct connect, if I go to add cloud account AWS is greyed out but MS Azure is available for some reason?

Can someone advise if this is due to licensing, a limitation of our deployment or maybe config issue?

Hi @dibdob

NPM alone can monitor a limited set of Azure and AWS features. AWS Direct Connect is not one of them. For that you need Observability Self Hosted Essentials.

Thanks for confirming NPM can't monitor direct connect.

For basic monitoring I would have thought we could add our AWS account but it's greyed out unless I'm doing something wrong?
