NPM-undp widgets on select nodes

I have created undp pollers and assigned to certain nodes. I am now trying to figure out how to display that data on those select nodes on their respective page.

Is there a way to display this data? I tried to do a custom widget which worked but it then added to all the nodes.

You can do as romea-donca said, just use the built in widgets if you want.

If you want to go for the Custom Widget approach, I'd go with Custom Query Widget. Note that SWQL and UnDP's are not the beginners class….

UnDP's come in two ways: single value or tables.
The SWQL query, and the built in widgets, for getting the data are different.

Below is an example for showing a few sing value UnDP's connected to the same node.

This will give you a nice table with all three values in a row.
You can also add one query to hide the widget if not applicable to each node. See picture below:

If you have several table UnDP's, you will have to join in the labels-table and add that into account into subsequent joins. Here is an example of that.

Thanks for that information. I was looking for something a bit easier that can be applied to a certain vendor and not require that level of customization. I'm just looking for basic information such as individual CPU utilization out of certain vendors or sessions per firewall that is not built into Solarwinds

Thanks, this is what I was using when I built these originally however it's not displaying the data on the nodes its assigned to. The ones I applied are valid and function as I tested and can create a custom widget for it.

What would be the reason for the undp not showing up on the nodes summary view?

Hi @NightAngel007 , if it's CPU or memory you want to show, and it's not supported out of the box. I suggest you create another type of poller. Under "All settings" you find them under "Manage Pollers". They are called Device Studio Poller. See also here: https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/success_center/orionplatform/content/core-device-studio-technologies.htm . If you use these, the CPU and memory metrics, etc, will be displayed on the right places automatically.

For universal device pollers, you can use some of the many built in widgets like "Tabular Universal device poller" widget. Under there you can choose to hide the widget if that node does not have that data:
