Hi All, Am looking to upgrade our SolarWinds NPM to the latest version (non RC) that based on available release notes is 2025.4.2. When going to our Customer Portal though, there is no 2025.4.2, however a Universal version, the next 1 below that being 2025.4.1. Have the below 3 questions please. * I'd take it that 2025.4.2 is the Universal version, but hoping to confirm please? * Also is there a reason for the difference in naming convention, instead of calling it Universal why not call it 2025.4.2? * This is pretty much dependent on question 1, but I'd take it that release notes for 2025.4.2 would be the notes for the Universal version? Upgrading to NPM 2025.4.2

Hi All,

Am looking to upgrade our SolarWinds NPM to the latest version (non RC) that based on available release notes is 2025.4.2. When going to our Customer Portal though, there is no 2025.4.2, however a Universal version, the next 1 below that being 2025.4.1. Have the below 3 questions please.

I'd take it that 2025.4.2 is the Universal version, but hoping to confirm please?

the naming convention 'universal' is wrong, devs are aware and will be fixed at some point. It is 2025.4.2. If you download it will tell you what version it is

Thanks for confirming this. I was in doubt as well.
