Postfix does not work on modern Linux

The current Postfix SAM does not work with Debian 6.12.57-1. I put in a support ticket and they said to post here to see if someone can update the SAM to work with a modern version of Linux. I am not a Linux guy so I don't know how to modify their script to work again. These are the errors:

Postfix statistic from maillog file: Mail log file /var/log/maillog not found
Messages from maillog file: Mail log file /var/log/maillog not found
Mail queue: Can't find postqueue command
