Alerts for SDWAN device if the next hop is not reachable.

We are monitoring our SDWAN Edgeconnects devices through SNMP in NPM module, is there a way to have Solarwinds alerts if the next-hop or connectivity to 8.8.8.8 is down, for a specific WAN interface ? Like IP SLA in the Aruba devices ?

Not sure what all you can see when you monitor it through SNMP, but have you tried orchestrator API? This provides additional info in SDWAN space.

Monitor SD-WAN for Aruba EdgeConnect orchestrators (formerly Silver Peak)

In general, next hop can be detected if you are monitoring the other side of connectivity as well or probably there could be some info on routing table if is monitored, but then I am not sure to what extent it will help in your case.
